my tramp stamp shirt arrived in the mail yesterday and I’m feeling very cute, so! it’s picture time :)
this was one of the main shirts I wanted from the tour alongside one of the mystery shirts, but they weren’t selling any of them at my show (riot) :/ every time I see one on ebay it’s way out of my price range. but! somehow I got this one from an auction for $17 :))))))) I don’t know how it happened, I was literally just on a bus, bored, seeing if there was anything up, and there was 10 minutes left on this:) it seems to be real, but if it’s not I’m not even that bothered, I’m just so excited to have it!
idk I just generally prefer band merch that is a little bit less obvious. don’t get me wrong I have shirts that are just a band’s name and that’s it, and i love them, but I prefer something a little lower key. not that this doesn’t have the band name on it but, it’s not like the first and only thing you see. (the mystery shirts are a really good example of the kind of shirt i heavily fuck w/)
It’s moon landing day. Friendly reminder to my space obsessed friends that you are not immune to propaganda
im so so so glad that the cutting edge of engineering has finally turned the corner from “show people more ads faster” to “destroy the world”. much more self-actualizing.
the lowest uninteresting number is 0 because numbers can’t be interesting. all number theorists should be shoved into lockers

John Green broke into my house to give me writing advice.
one nice thing about me is that in real life i won’t break into your house or give you writing advice, because 1. i don’t have any advice; i can’t even express to myself how to write, let alone to someone else, and 2. i really dislike tense social situations like home invasions.

Engineers going to uni for years to learn what beavers 🦫 know intuitively. Embarrassing.
ive never seen an engineer gnaw a tree in half with their teeth.

there’s a post i want to make about how the world is too complicated for individual people to understand and we sort of don’t really grapple with the fact that most people don’t so much make informed decisions as go with pre-established defaults that society has made and trust that those are fine
and if you’re fighting to step out of societal defaults you basically have to make informed decisions. which is not a skill society trains on you. and you fuck up. and it’s very important to allow people to do it but also you trip over the fact that ‘this isn’t illegal’ and 'society has said this is Fine’ look very similar and for people who run all their risk assessment on 'society said this is Fine’ this is dangerous.
i would like to say 'that’s the post’ but that’s not the post. i can’t write the post. i wrote this instead of the post and it’s worse. sorry.
the world is too complicated for individual people to understand
not for me. rip to you but im different.
